Missy Godfrey is a Managing Director at North Sea Partners. Ms. Godfrey has spent over two decades as a senior operating executive and general manager across a broad range of sectors, including private equity investing, media, luxury goods, advertising and wealth management. She is also an expert in turnaround situations, product launches and start-up initiatives. Prior to joining North Sea, Ms. Godfrey was an Operating Partner at Morgan Joseph TriArtisan Capital where she facilitated advisory and contractual business in mergers, acquisitions and private equity investment. She also advised nascent media and technology companies on strategies and fundraising. From 2002 to 2004 she was a Vice President Financial Advisor at Sanford Bernstein. Ms. Godfrey has held a number of senior publishing, advertising sales and marketing positions at Primedia, Capital Publishing’s Worth, Hearst’s Countryside and American Express’ Departures. She began her publishing career at House Beautiful overseeing retail promotion.

Currently Ms. Godfrey is a mentor for the Entrepreneurs Roundtable ER Accelerator, an early stage investment fund In New York City. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Spa Finder LLC, where she spent over a year as a senior executive advising on the firm’s turn-around efforts and hired a number of its most senior executives. She is on the Board of Directors of Youth Service America (YSA) and is a former board member of A Better Chance of New Canaan. Ms. Godfrey holds a BS from Skidmore College.
