Mr. Levi is a Managing Director at North Sea Partners. Prior to joining North Sea, he was a Managing Director and head of Capital Markets at Knight Capital Group. Previously, he was a partner at Plainfield Asset Management LLC, where he was responsible for media, communications and technology investments for the firm’s $5 billion special situations hedge fund. From 1997 to 2002 he was with J. P. Morgan Chase, where he was an investment banker in the Leveraged Finance Group responsible for structuring loans and bonds for new issuers, as well as restructuring the debt of distressed companies in the technology, media and telecommunications sector. Mr. Levi started at JP Morgan Chase in High Yield Research, leading the media and telecom industries team. He was also a research analyst at Merrill Lynch, where he was associate head of Global High Yield Research. He began his career in high yield research at Drexel Burnham Lambert in 1986. Mr. Levi was a consistently top –ranking analyst on Institutional Investor’s All America Fixed Income Research team in the media and telecom sectors.

Mr. Levi holds an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern where he has been an Adjunct Professor since 2003, teaching courses on business ethics and financial markets. In addition, he holds a PhD from Columbia University, and a BA from New York University.
