Hannah Burns is Chief Operating Officer of North Sea Partners. Prior to joining North Sea, she was a managing director and global head of public relations at Lehman Brothers where she was responsible for the development, coordination and execution of the firm's worldwide media strategy. In addition to providing strategic counsel to senior management, Ms. Burns was responsible for developing communications strategies for all of the firm's businesses, including investment banking, capital markets and investment management, as well as initiating programs to publicize the firm's social responsibility activities. She also directed the production of the firm's most visible marketing materials, including the annual report, firm qualifications and presentations. During her tenure, Ms. Burns was responsible for over 50 positive profiles on Lehman Brothers in the world's leading business publications.

From 1986 to 2001 she was managing director of Corporate Communications at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc where she oversaw internal and external communications, including investor relations.

Ms. Burns is a trustee of The Gettysburg Foundation and Edith Wharton Restoration in Lenox, Massachusetts. She holds a BA in Government from Smith College.
